Carefully Designed to Provide the Best Possible Educational Experience for Young Children.

Our Pre-K Program provide everything your child needs for continued growth and preparation for a key transition to Kindergarten by teaching foundational literacy and math skills. Children learn letter-sound relationships, sight word recognition, and basic mathematical functions. We also provide a character education program to nurture important social and emotional skills such as listening, understanding feelings, and resolving conflicts. This program encourages continued skill development in the arts and creative expression and also includes physical fitness.

Your Child’s Day

In Pre-K the focus is on learning and preparation for school.  Your child’s day is filled with fun learning activities, circle time, indoor and outdoor playtime, group meals, quiet activities, and rest time. Through individual and small groups, children are guided to areas of interest.  They explore reading, songs, writing, math, and science with their teacher. During the year we bring in special guests to read or teach something new to our children.

Communication with Parents

Parents are able to provide useful information to the teacher in the morning. At the end of the day you receive a daily report with information on your child’s day. The sheet provides specific information on:

  • Learning activities your child participated in during the day
  • Important reminders of items to bring or other information
  • Group Report summarizing the classroom’s day
